I am attending, for the first time, a Fan Fest for my favorite major league baseball team. What are the best items to get autographed AND if its bats or baseballs, what type exactly?

official league (american or national) baseballs. easier to carry around than bats. keep them in plastic bag and put in your purse or something. one autograph per ball.

I don’t know about booking, but this website lists Chicago-area autograph events:

My guess is you would need to contact an athletes’ agent or manager to arrange a signing.
